The big music event "Sapporo City Jazz" has started from last year. The one of the programs "Park Jazz Live" invites performers.
"About 200 bands, 1,000 people live players colored a town of Sapporo by music in 2007. We'll move a main place to Odori Park and will have the contest this year."
The championship band can play as an opening band in "North JAM Session '08" at the forest bandstand of the Sapporo Art on Sunday, August 10.
Every year, with an attendance of 5000 people, this midsummer concert is held in the heart of Sapporo. Why don't you join us this year?
Sapporo city museum, 4-chome promenade, etc
- (1)Individual or a group.
- (2)The performance genre should JAZZ, fusion, acoustic system.
- (3)Performance will around 20 minutes.
- (4)There is a case to play some performances a day or during the period of event.
- (1) In the case of a lot of application, it will be selected by sound source examination.
- (2) The player at White Rock, 2-chome Ohdori Park, will be selected by sound source examination. The performance at White Locke is the contest, and winning band will play as an opening band of city jazz finals event ""North JAM Session"" to perform at Sapporo Art Park open-air stage on August 10. "
- * Must arrive by Wednesday, April 30, 2008.
After the deadline, we'll notice you a selection result by May 15. @@
- * ¥1,500 per person as an entry fee.
* (A person will play in some bands needs an entry fee for each band.)
* Entry fee will use for an activity fund of the administration volunteers such as the park jazz live.
- An original commemorative T-shirt will be given to all the performers.
