Sapporo City Jazz 2008 Program

Jazz sound will echo in Sapporo town around Odori Park for three weeks.

    PARK JAZZ LIVE

    Live performance is no charge for admission at each place. About 200 chosen bands, more than 1,000 people participated and played in 2007.

    CROSS CITY JAZZ LIVE

    It is free jazz concerts to feel the sound of the professional musician at lunch break or on the way to home for the business persons in the city area.

    Premium400 WHITE ROCK MUSIC TENT LIVE

    The main of the Sapporo City Jazz is the live broadcasting event that constructed picture projection installed in tent named White Rock from the last year. People can enjoy live broadcasting every day in a session with enjoying cooking and drinking from the restaurants & the bars in the tent of 90ft (590 square meters in area) installed in Odori Park 2. Moreover, since whole tent becomes the special screen, it becomes the art object inside and outside, and it brings unique art space. The number of seats will be limited to 400 seats in White Rocke this year. So it will make the luxurious premium space that audiences can relax and enjoy jazz live broadcasting.

    North JAM Session'08

    This is the final live giving glory to the finale of three weeks Sapporo City Jazz. Artists give glory to the finale at the Sapporo art park open-air stage.
